Homestead Textiles was formed in 2016 when Rodger and Heather bought an existing towel company. The owners have a combined 25 years in the textile industry and support U.S. Agriculture by selling towels made with U.S. Cotton!

Rodger Sanders

Rodger has been growing cotton his entire life. He always had a dream that someday he could make a finished product from his cotton. Thus, the concept to Homestead Textiles. Supporting American farmers by buying products produced from them!

Rodger is a huge supporter of buying directly from farmers and has spent many years selling his fruits and vegetables at Farmer's Markets in the Santa Barbara, Santa Monica and the Central Valley areas.

Heather Baltis

Heather grew up working on her family's cattle ranch. Her passion for the agriculture industry started at a young age on the back of a horse herding cattle overlooking California's central valley.

She received her Agribusiness degree from California Polytechnic State University, SLO and ventured out on her own as a consultant helping two companies build their business from the ground up. In 2016, she and Rodger bought a towel business. Heather enjoys managing accounts at Homestead Textiles and passing on her passion of the agriculture industry to the next generation by teaching Agribusiness at Bakersfield College.
